The proposed scheme entails a meticulously planned refurbishment project aimed at elevating a prestigious high-end flat situated within a building of significant townscape merit, nestled in the heart of the Soho conservation area. The project represents a harmonious blend of conservation, contemporary design, and luxurious living, all meticulously intertwined to seamlessly integrate the past and the present.
The client’s vision was to elevate the existing two-bedroom flat into a refined one-bedroom apartment, designed to graciously accommodate gatherings with friends and family while ensuring a heightened level of privacy in the bedroom area.
In response to this objective, the layout has been meticulously planned, offering a south-facing open-plan kitchen-living area featuring generous crittal style windows that not only overlook the lively street below but also infuse the space with an abundance of natural light. The standout feature of this space is the corner kitchen, boasting a remarkable 4-meter-long island with glass panel finishing. It’s strategically positioned near a concealed bar, making it an ideal focal point for hosting guests and preparing and serving drinks.

The central element of the design is the walk-in wardrobe, serving as both a transitional buffer and a connecting link between the open and bright kitchen-living area and the more secluded and dark-toned sleeping quarters. It masterfully bridges the gap between the vibrancy and openness of the kitchen-living area and the tranquillity and moody colour palette of the bedroom and primary bathroom.
The interior design approach embodies a sophisticated fusion of classic and contemporary styles, with a careful selection of opulent furnishings, bespoke cabinetry, and elegant textiles. Each design element is chosen to harmonise with the flat’s architectural heritage while creating a comfortable and visually captivating living space.

Efforts have been made to enhance energy efficiency, employ eco-friendly materials, and promote responsible construction practices. By doing so, the refurbishment contributes not only to the comfort and luxury of the occupants but also to the long-term health of the environment.
