A scheme for a 15 - storey tower block has been submitted for pre-application advice to BeFirst (Barking Council Planning and Development arm). 

The site is located in proximity of Barking Station, in an area where many high rise developments have recently been approved by the Council.

The proposal involves the demolition of the existing building on site, to provide a mixed use development with commercial areas on the ground floor and 100 flats distributed on the above storeys.

The volume has been shaped to minimise the impact on the neighbouring developments, as well as to maximise the capacity of the site,
